This site aims to reveal and remind the world netizen community on PKK and its recently captured leader Abdullah Ocalan, for his actions are not only against Turks/Kurds but as a terrorist are a crime against humanity. A brief description is followed by links to various other detailed editorials on the subject. The terrorist organization Kurdistan Workers' Party or the "PKK" is an extremely brutal Marxist-Leninist group founded by Abdullah Ocalan in 1978. Since 1984 has waged a bloody campaign of terror with the varying aims of establishing a Maoist regime and/or a independent Marxism-Leninist Kurdish state in the middle east & Turkey. To achieve this, its leader Abdullah Ocalan has planned and executed activities which have resulted in the death of thousands of innocent individuals, most of whom are civilians, including women, babies, children, the elderly, civil servants, and school teachers in Turkey. It was announced in mid-97 that The PKK terrorists had murdered 4,276 and injured 5,083 citizens of Turkish & Kurdish ethnic background. 501 children, 512 woman were among the murdered civilians. A total of 3,223 schools where 166,000 students in 22 districts of two provinces, remained shut in 1996 due to repeated PKK attacks. 156 mostly primary school teachers have been killed. Moreover, the PKK's enemies include not only the Turkish authorities but also, ironically, the two leading ethnic Kurdish groups in Iraq, namely, Masud Barzani's Kurdish Democratic Party and Celal Talabani's Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. Clearly, Abdullah "Apo" Öcalan disguises PKK activities as a romantic campaign for Kurdish independence when, in actuality, the hallmark of his terrorist activity has been a strong commitment to Marxism-Leninism. The PKK has been categorized as a foreign terrorist organization by the US and several other European countries. The Spanish High Court suspended the invitation (by the Basque) of the so-called Kurdish Parliament-in-exile to be held in the Basque Region. Main reason was the connections in between this unelected group and PKK. Abdullah Ocalan was captured in Kenya (15/1/99) while travelling on a Greek Cypriot passport! Abdullah Ocalan's first hearing at his Island prison awaiting his trial. As a reprisal terrorist supporters have attacked Greek, Kenyan & UN diplomatic missions and taken hostages around the world. By this aggression against diplomatic compounds and personnel PKK has broken another international treaty against terrorism. In Turkey they have moved their arson/bombing operations to city targets, aiming civilians without care for ethnic origin.
The NSCI, British National Service of Criminal Intelligence reported that in 1993 PKK extorted 2.5 million pounds sterling from immigrants and businesses. According to the same source, PKK obtained 56 million DM from drug smuggling in Europe in 1993.
